Our Lady of Seven Sorrows - the 13th-century devotions of the Servite order gave rise to the seven sorrows. The Servites dedicated their lives to penance, prayer, and service to our lady while reflecting on her sufferings. The seven sorrows rosary was their primary method of prayer.
